WHAAAAT??!!

 



Every day, religiously,  I have checked the weather report, especially for snow.  Not until February at least.  But I see a cloud...  Oh, that's just rain.  Maybe with lightning.  A tornado??  No, not likely.  OK.  Suddenly, "Oh, by the way, it supposed to snow tonight."  This is disturbing.  I'll be trapped, trapped like a rat.  I'll starve.  The pipes will freeze and I won't have water.  What if the power goes out?  I'll freeze.  The temperature is supposed to be 12*.  




You could play in the snow.  You could make a snowman.  NO, I don't want to play in the snow.   I should have been consulted.  How about sitting at the window with a sweater on and drinking hot chocolate? Maybe.

  Trying to relax before dinner, I found a story on Youtube while I waited.  Are all these stories identical?   "Turn, turn.  See the pathos.  A whale of a lot of snow.   A blizzard!!  Oh no!! I huddled in my house feeling darkness creep far over the land.  I'm not just talking about a cloudy sky, or sunset.  No!!   Far, far worse.   There was almost no time to prepare." I knew where this was going.  We need an angel.  "As I shivered, trying in vain to stay warm, suddenly my soul left my body.  It went outside and flew around above the houses.  Above the driveways.  Above the roads, the trees,  the pastures,  the stores, the schools..." Watching Youtube

  My favorite thing to do is watching stories on YouTube about the interesting lives of other people.   I think to myself, "Why don't I have an interesting life?  Everyone else does."  What's my most unusual story? About ten years ago I was walking back to the house from the mailbox when I saw my husband's ghost standing in the yard.  What???  He was standing with his side to me, facing a field about 100 feet away.  I walked up to him with my mind made up to find out what this was about.  When I reached him, he began to walk away.  I was determined to see where he went and I stood and watched.  He walked away slowly, not making a sound, even though it was fall, and he was walking on fallen leaves that should have crunched.  He walked about 25 feet away toward some trees and bushes.  He strangely began to lose definition around the edges of his body as he approached a tree.  He became blurry, and suddenly, poof!  ...
