This is the End My Friend


 

I've been satisfied with my computer, but recently it occurred to me that I will probably need to replace it.  How much did I pay for my old computer?  $300.00.  I have been surprised at how well it held up.


But even though it seemed to be still working, the idea of replacing it kept occurring to me.  And then today came.  The internet company had issues, which they've had a lot lately.  But today when the internet went out, my computer faltered.  No way.  Not after what happened.  Once I had the chance I ordered a new computer on Amazon.  This one is a laptop for $700.00. There was a big price range.  I thought of buying one for $400.00, and even considered $1000.00, but the problem is, bad things sometimes happen to computers, and it's easier to take if you can get along with one that's not as expensive.  


At the same time I had come to the bitter end with my cellphone, and decided to replace that too.  This time I got an iPhone.  This phone was much less expensive than I thought it would be, $150.00.  I hope I like it better than my current phone.  The strangest thing about my present phone is the way it turns on.  It has buttons that are very hard to push, and even then you have to hold them down a long time.   


Imagine my world when my computer, my cellphone and the landline all went down at the same time.  It was a humbling experience.  So soon things will be OK again.  Ever since the mischief with the internet my computer won't charge, so I only have a few minutes left of internet for a few days.  


I'm hoping for the best with the new computer and cellphone.

  Trying to relax before dinner, I found a story on Youtube while I waited.  Are all these stories identical?   "Turn, turn.  See the pathos.  A whale of a lot of snow.   A blizzard!!  Oh no!! I huddled in my house feeling darkness creep far over the land.  I'm not just talking about a cloudy sky, or sunset.  No!!   Far, far worse.   There was almost no time to prepare." Watching Youtube

  My favorite thing to do is watching stories on YouTube about the interesting lives of other people.   I think to myself, "Why don't I have an interesting life?  Everyone else does."  What's my most unusual story? About ten years ago I was walking back to the house from the mailbox when I saw my husband's ghost standing in the yard.  What???  He was standing with his side to me, facing a field about 100 feet away.  I walked up to him with my mind made up to find out what this was about.  When I reached him, he began to walk away.  I was determined to see where he went and I stood and watched.  He walked away slowly, not making a sound, even though it was fall, and he was walking on fallen leaves that should have crunched.  He walked about 25 feet away toward some trees and bushes.  He strangely began to lose definition around the edges of his body as he approached a tree.  He became blurry, and suddenly, poof!  ...
